What is the Legacy Program?

The Bible & Literature Missionary Foundation prints and sends Bibles across the globe because we believe it is the Church’s responsibility to produce God’s Word. For that reason, we have started to offer a Legacy Program that allows people to dedicate Bibles as a thoughtful gift for loved ones. For only $3.00 per Bible, you can provide the Word of God for those in need. Give as a Church, family, or individual. We offer a variety of legacy options that are sure to make your Bible dedications special, including:

Hands-On Help

Create a lasting memorial of your loved ones by sponsoring the Scriptures for someone in need. 

Give Bibles in honor of the special people of your life, such as your pastor, parents or spouse.

Make their Christmas present meaningful by giving the Word of Life to a world in need.

Sponsor Bibles for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and gifts of gratitude.

By including BLMF in your estate planning, benefits for you and your estate would include:


  • Reducing any estate taxes with a charitable deduction
  • Reducing the tax burden on your family
  • Leaving a lasting Christian legacy
     

 Types of Bequests:
1. A Specific Bequest could involve a specific dollar amount, the proceeds from a life insurance policy or an IRA account, real estate, or personal property (such as a vehicle) to BLMF.
2. A Percentage Bequest would involve leaving a specific percentage of our overall estate to BLMF.
3. A Residual Bequest would involve leaving a percentage of the residue of your state (after all specific bequests have been given away) to BLMF.
 
You should consult your attorney if you desire to make a bequest. Your attorney would need the following information about BLMF in order to include it in your estate planning.
